Every NYC Pooch walker graduates from a rigorous safety curriculum. We don’t just walk dogs. We read them, gear them, and guard them like our own.
TRAINING FIRST
Signature safety course
Before ever walking a pup, our dog walkers are trained in-person by our expert staff. Not just a quick onboarding video
EVERY WALK
Pre-walk scans & procedures
A trained checklist from apartment entry to lockup: gear fit, hazard scan, and controlled exits on every single walk.
WE READ DOGS
Canine body-language literate
Our walkers read stress vs. relaxed signals in real time and default to “play it safe”, so your dog is never pushed past comfort.

20+ years in business. 5-star reviews across the web. 1,000+ walks, belly rubs, and tail wags completed every week.
Phenomenal service and care for our pets! After 4.5 years of using NYC Pooch we couldn't be happier!
Our dog, Casper, has been cared for by multiple sitters and walkers over the years, and every one of them has been kind, reliable, and truly great with Casper.
Howard has been an absolute gift to our family. He takes wonderful care of our dog, and is always reliable, kind, and thoughtful. We’re also so grateful to NYC Pooch as a company: they are consistently reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with.
We love working with NYC Pooch! Our go-to walker Corbin is wonderful and incredibly attentive with our dog and is a great communicator. We have also worked with a few replacement & trainee walkers and they're all lovely
I’ve been using NYC Pooch since 2019, and they’ve been amazing with my dog, Lola. They’re super easy to reach, always flexible if I have a last-minute change, and just really caring overall. It feels very personal and they know Lola so well and I always feel at ease knowing she’s in good hands.
Our dog and our family are profoundly grateful for our amazing NYC Pooch walker. She understands our dog and connects with him in ways that make his walks special.
