Chica, the border collie, plays fetches, slips under fences and acts generally like a normal dog. Yet she’s not normal. She has no eyes as they were removed when she as a puppy.
Watch the video below and you’ll see that if you didn’t know she had no eyes, you would never recognize a difference in Chica. She bounds into her owner’s truck when the door is opened and she runs around at full speed and miraculously doesn’t bump into things. Not to mention she even fetches a basketball and rolls it back to her owner. Her mom has no idea how she manages to navigate so well and comments that it’s almost like Chica has some sort of radar that allows her to get around. Despite the lack of science behind her abilities, it’s great to watch her move with such confidence and Chica can serve as inspiration to everyone.
