Zachary Quinto Loves Shelter Dogs

January 31, 2013

If you’re a Zachary Quinto fan to begin with, you’re going to love him even more now. He, apparently the dog lover, has made a short film called “Dog Eat Dog” and some of the money raised for the making of the film was donated to help shelters.

Shelter Dogs

It was Quinto’s goal to raise awareness for shelter dog adoption in a funny, exaggerated way. In this enjoyable film, he illustrates the difficulties and road blocks that are often present when attempting to adopt a shelter dog, but how he was determined to do so anyway.(dog walking services nyc)
He said, “Our goal was to make an entertaining short film inspired by my outlandishly humorous — but true — experience of trying to adopt a dog for the first time. But we also want to raise awareness about pet rescues and inspire people to rescue their new pet instead of buying one. There are so many beautiful dogs that need homes…the heart of this story is how much joy — and humor — can exist in trying to find the right match.”
Quinto has his own shelter dog, Noah, who helped inspire him to make this video. Take a watch!
