your neighborhood, however general hours are as follows

RESERVATIONS / CONFIRMATIONS / CANCELLATIONS
ARE YOU REGULAR? - Establishing a regular schedule for your dog is
recommended. This helps us allocate our walkers and ensures that you receive your desired walking window. Regular schedules also help us carefully plan so that we can ensure each of our clients get the most out of every visit from our walkers.
24 HOURS - For the above reasons, we require a minimum of 24 hours advance
notice to guarantee accommodation. Please be mindful of this in the event that you need to make changes to your schedule. For weekend walks, all reservation and changes must be made by Thursday night.
PRIORITY #1 - At NYC Pooch, our top priority will always be the needs of the
animals that we work with. In situations when there is a last minute emergency or a special request, we will always do our very best to accommodate our pals. However, we cannot make any guarantees for short notice situations.
IT VARIES - If your schedule changes from week to week, please remember to
make your reservations ahead of time. This will help us to ensure that your desired walk times are available.
IT'S BEEN CONFIRMED! - All confirmations must come from our office.
Only this can guarantee an appointment has been booked into our system. Sent messages and emails which do not receive a return confirmation from us means that you do not have an appointment with us. Reservations can be made by calling our office at 212-874-6335 or sent via email: reservations@nycpooch.com. (You will receive a confirmation when your request was successfully put in the system)
CANCEL THAT! - Our cancellation policy is basically our reservation policy
looking in the mirror. All cancellations must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled walk. This gives us time to adjust our schedule and give the time slot to another pooch. Failure to cancel within the 24-hour window will result in the full price of the visit being charged.
DOG GONE IT! - In the event that we show up for a scheduled walk and your
pooch is not home or unable to come out and play, you will be charged for the full rate of the visit.
TWO-HOUR WINDOW
ITS COMPLICATED - Due to the complexity of our clients varying schedules and
the unique challenges of maneuvering through NYC in all climates, we reserve a two-hour window around the time of your scheduled walk. EX: If you are scheduled for 3pm, you can expect your walker will arrive sometime between 2pm and 4pm. This window helps us manage constantly varying schedules, bad weather, toweling dogs off after rainy or snowy days, varying travel times between clients, and of course elevators that sometimes take forever to come for what ever reason.
PAYMENT
EASY-PAY! - Our Easy-Pay System allows you to
keep your payment information on file with us. With our secure system, invoices are automatically generated at the end of each week for services rendered. There is no charge for this service.

YOU'VE GOT MAIL! - We send confirmation messages to your phone or computer each time we visit.This way when you're sitting in the office or running around managing your hectic day, you can still get the latest on your furry friend. How they faired that day, how close they came to catching that infamous squirrel, or that giant tree branch they tried to bring home for you as a present.

MUST LOVE DOGS! - All of our wonderful dog walkers and runners are kind, friendly, responsible,and of course - LOVE DOGS! JUST LIKE YOU! BEER MONEY! We take great pride in choosing the right people for this job. NYC Pooch does not hire just anyone who needs some extra beer money. The heart and soul of our reputation hinges on all of our people having respect for the sanctity of your home, and the loving treatment of your animal. Therefore, our handlers are carefully selected based on personality, character and detailed references. TRAINING IS KEY! - NYC Pooch dog walkers are not just handed a set of keys to your house with a leash. We thoroughly train each of our walkers to make sure that they understand both our procedures and your individual requests.
NO PACK WALKS - WE ALL KNOW THE BENEFITS OF HAVING DOGS SOCIALIZE WITH OTHER DOGS. HOWEVER, THERE ARE NUMEROUS
NO ONE IS SAFE! - It's really not safe for dogs or pedestrians when packs of dogs are assembledREASONS WHY WALKING A PACK OF DOGS IS SIMPLY A BAD IDEA.
to walk down busy city streets. IT'S A DRAG! - Dogs all move at their own pace. Some stop for no reason and some take off running for no reason. When you walk a pack of dogs, there is always one or more of those dogs being dragged from the back of the pack. While at the same time, the dog that wants to run at the front of the pack is prevented from doing so as well. IT'S NOT HEALTHY! - Dogs get sick, but walking them in packs greatly increases that risk. Giardia, Kennel Cough and other ailments are often spread through large groups of dogs. YOU CAN'T PARK THERE! - With NYC Pooch, your animal will never be "parked" outside of some building waiting for us to pick up other people's dogs. PARK HERE INSTEAD! - Whenever possible, our walkers will take the time to find the nearest park or open area so your dog can experience the fresh air and exercise at his/her own pace.
A BOND WILL BE ESTABLISHED BETWEEN DOG AND WALKER, WHERE TRAINING AND
ETIQUETTE IS REINFORCED, A FRIENDSHIP IS FORGED, AND BOTH OF THEM LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR DAILY OUTING

During the hot summer months, we always carry fresh water to keep your pup hydrated and comfortable.
WIPE YOUR FEET
On rainy days your pup will be toweled off so you don't come home to a mess.
