Laura
When Laura Frantz was growing up in Eugene, Oregon, her family was not able to have a dog. To make up for this omission, she has spent her life walking and sitting as many of her friends', neighbors', and acquaintances' dogs as possible. She was a pet sitter in Eugene, and befriended stray dogs and cats while working as an English teacher and art student in Ankara, Turkey. One fellow even took up residency in her studio there. She currently lives in Brooklyn, where she shares an apartment with a sweet pit bull named Junebug. When off the leash, Laura likes to paint, draw, eat, and do crossword puzzles.
