Dan Shemetoff is an Upper West Side native and life long friend of dogs. He grew up taking care of his family dog, a floppy eared, Chocolate lab/ Doberman mix named Greesha, in the same neighborhood and parks that would one day become his first route. After a varied career performing music and touring abroad, he returned to New York and became one half of a small dog walking company named West Side Pooch. Staying creative and running the company with integrity, genuine personality and devotion, turned a hand full of loyal clients into a successful agency bringing his signature service to dog owners throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Dan, when not in the office or out walking or running with his four legged pals, spends time recording music, cooking in his Brooklyn kitchen, and planning his next big snowboarding trip out west.
