Hey there!
My name is Corbin Castleman and I am from Seattle, Washington. I have years of professional experience with dogs, including dogs with special needs and disabilities. I also train new walkers for NYC Pooch. When I am not on the job I explore the east coast with my partner (Emma!) and I read whenever I can. My genres are Fantasy and Science Fiction!
Hi, I’m Kayla and I’m from NYC. I’ve been passionate about animals my whole life. I’ve working with dogs professionally for over 7 years. I also have a history of volunteering with rescue animals. While I love spending time to animals, I’m also really passionate about writing, botany, and fitness.
I'm from Queens, New York and love dogs. I have 8+ years of experience working professionally with dogs and have had my own over the years as well, all rescues. I'm passionate about books, especially writing.
I’m Adrianne Beers, an animal lover and experienced pet care professional from Denver, CO, now living in NYC since last summer. I’ve spent over five years as a dog walker and sitter, working with all kinds of dogs, including reactive ones, and I have a special talent for understanding and calming cats—some might even call me a “cat whisperer.” Having owned both dogs and cats, I’m passionate about providing the best care for animals while building trusting relationships with their owners. Outside of my love for pets, I’m passionate about helping people, exploring new places, and embracing the outdoors. Whether traveling, hiking, or trying out unique dining experiences, I thrive on adventure and connection.
Hello there, my name is Luis Piedrahita and I'm originally from Colombia. I have been a dog walker for several years now and can say there's nothing that compares to the tender love our fur babies can share with us. I have gained many skills throughout the years including some dog training as well as staff training on the industry. Aside from dogs other things that I'm personally passionate about are video games as well as fitness. I hope to share my experiences and time with your precious 4 legged babies and to be one of the best parts of their day.
Hello, I'm Matthew. I am a born and raised New Yorker. Over the last decade, I’ve been able to spend time walking dogs and learning about all of their different quirks and personalities. Spending time with dogs is a very therapeutic experience. Being a dog walker inspired me to get a Mini Poodle of my own! As a big sports fan, one of my favorite memories was attending "Bark in the Park" at CitiField. Being able to walk the field and sit in the stands with my dog was an amazing experience, and I try my best to return each year! I approach every walk as if I was walking my own pup, so their safety and needs are always my first priority. I look forward to creating new memories with your dogs.
Just a guy from queens a native New Yorker, been working with dogs on the field for 4 years now and I personally own 3 dogs of my own ( two huskies and a pitbull) both huskies are rescue dogs from a abusive home. My training is assisted by YouTube videos and instagram which are implemented on my own dogs which carry over onto work.
I do art on the side mural pieces of nature or animals
Hi! My name is Holly, and I’m from a small town in Massachusetts. I grew up with a pup, the sweetest beagle-cocker spaniel mix named Libby, who stole my heart from day one! I always jumped at the opportunity to care for my friend’s pets, and was elated to start working with NYCPooch. Who doesn’t want to spend all day with dogs?! Now I have two cats of my own, who both love dogs as much as I do! Aside from my love for animals, I am an actor and musician. I play guitar and write music, as well as screenplays and poetry. When the weather is nice, I like to ride my bike throughout the city!
I'm originally from Northeast Ohio, where I spent four years living and working on a family farm. We grew alfalfa and kept a flock of sheep. My animal care experience is rooted in that time. Walking big dogs on buddy walks is okay by me.
Since 2019 I've worked exclusively with cats and dogs, previously as a kennel manager and currently work full-time in client services for an animal hospital. I've been part of the NYC Pooch family since 2022 and am proud to be part of the relief crew, substituting for your regular walker as my availability allows.
My success rate with meeting new dogs without an owner-introduction is note-worthy . Dogs are naturally comfortable with me and I've met many this way and have completed hundreds of walks with happy doggos
I co-own a business with my partner that operates pub trivia games. My interests in science, literature, history, politics and pop culture and my fascination with obscurities and little-known facts take center stage every week as I write and research much of the questions we present during our weekly games. My favorite part of it all is interacting with the players.
A passion that's developed because of my time in the field for NYC Pooch has been photography. My love for dogs easily makes them the perfect subject and I hope to catch a candid or pose that'll make your day.
At home, my partner and I have a senior rescue named Winston. He's a Fox Terrier/Shih Tzu mix with a sweet and spicy personality with a wicked underbite.
I am from Mexico City. and since I was a toddler I have memories of being around dogs, my family always had dogs so that made me be close to our furry friends and understand many of their behaviors, I have helped train and rescue dogs that have been abandoned or lost.
I moved to New York and 2 years ago I found NYC Pooch and I’ve used my experience to give tons of love and attention to pups in the city

Hi there! I’m Jason, and I’m passionate about pup! I grew up in the DC/NoVa area and have been taking care of dogs for the majority of my life. My favorite thing about being able to walk and care for dogs is getting to know their personalities, their favorite places and activities and seeing them excited to see me again. I’ve helped rehab rescues, have an instant rapport with pups, and I’m well trained in pet nutrition and supplements to help them live full healthy lives. When I’m not walking dogs, I design tshirts, write comedy bits, reading comics and old pulp fiction as well as getting into 3d printing and various other nerdy pursuits.
Hey! Isiah here. I'm the awesome walker from Trinidad every dog loves (at least I hope so). I used to be a part of a team that worked with dogs in the daycare and shelter settings. I always enjoyed working with animals and as life got a little bruiser for me I wanted to work with dogs again when I made it back to the city.
In previous settings I've done work caring for dogs personally and professionally. I also went to get my experience in dog training. All of which makes my time with my pups as smooth sailing as possible. Working with pets who have medical disabilities/ etc are also tasks I have done and trained to do, ideal for when the need ever arises.
Outside of dogs (can't escape since I have my own as well), I have also been a member of the U.S. Army for the past few years and will hopefully continue my military career as I pursue education as well. I believe no matter the challenge, giving 110% in all the things we do will always give us results.
Im from Cape Cod, Massachusetts! I am an experienced dog walker, trainer, and life-long dog lover! When I am not taking care of your baby, I am relaxing and training with my service dog, Basil! I am passionate about Ancient History, Stage Combat, and Theater!

I'm a native New Yorker, living in the LES. My first dog, Chloe, was a Lab/Shepherd mix. I adopted her when she was 6 weeks old. She passed a month before her 15th birthday. A year later, my second dog, Ari (Arashi), was a Border Collie, maybe pitbull mix. I adopted him when he was 9 weeks old. He passed a week after his 14th birthday. I've been dog walking at NYC Pooch for 2 1/2 years. When I'm not taking care of dogs, I'm experimenting with new fragrance blends to make scented candles and working on Chinese calligraphy designs.
Hi, I was born and raised here in NYC, specifically in East Harlem! I’ve been around dog my whole life and extended a helping hand to neighbors who had a couple pups in the building before joining NYCPOOCH. I did spend a couple months in Mexico helping out my cousin who worked with rescues. We’d spent days feeding and up keeping the health of all rescued dogs and going out to feed and help any others in bad condition. Aside from this, I’m also very interesting in art and working on drawing and sketching in my free time!

My best friend as a child was a Rottweiler-Chow Chow mix, therefore I have a soft spot for big, misunderstood dogs. I have experience working with rescue and/or special needs dogs, and find it very fulfilling. Also, I provide amateur pet photography and portrait services if ever needed. On that note, my passion besides animals is art. I love analyzing the world and focusing on the luminosity of organisms, and hope to showcase this through mixed media illustration and eventually, toys.

From a very young age, I was surrounded by dogs and other animals, and as I grew older, my passion for them only deepened. I have been the proud owner of my husky since he was just 4 months old, and I've dedicated myself to training him to the best of my abilities. Additionally, I lend a hand to neighbors, family, and friends, sharing insights and knowledge about their own dogs. I’m currently towards my certification in dog training. Alongside my love for dogs, I have a strong desire to help those in need—be it physical, mental, or emotional support. With a bachelor's degree in human services, I possess the knowledge and experience necessary to navigate and assist others through various life challenges.
I hail from Dinwiddie, Virginia. Aside from having a special bond with my dogs throughout my childhood, I dedicated over three years working with animals at shelters and kennels. I was that teenager volunteering on weekends at the animal shelter, opting to spend my time there rather than hanging out at the mall or doing anything else. I'm no stranger to handling what some might call "aggressive" breeds—though I use that term very loosely. In my experience, there’s no such thing as a bad dog. I enjoy playing video games, including Overwatch and Final Fantasy XIV, and I’m particularly drawn to multiplayer games.

I am certified in Pet First Aid, and specialize in senior pet care. I am a huge fan of Japanese pop culture, my favorite color is pink, and I adore the stage! Dan, a born and raised New Yorker hailing from the Upper West Side, began his career in the pet care industry like many others - as a dog walker during his summer break from college. Initially a part-time job to support his musical pursuits, dog walking quickly turned into a passion and became much more than a summer job. While other dog walkers were trying to round up as many dogs as they possibly could on their walks, Dan was more interested in taking each of his dogs out on their own little adventure each day, and leaving extensive pup-reports scribbled on paper for parents to read when they got home from work. Word got around and soon more and more dog owners wanted to sign their dogs up, so Dan partnered with his childhood friend Shane, and NYC Pooch was born. Dan and Shane’s unique approach to animal care was simply to treat each dog as their own. It wasn’t long before we realized we were going to need a lot more help, so we sought out friends and other creative people within NYC’s thriving music and arts scene to come to join.
Together Dan, Shane, and all the incredible people we’ve worked with over the years have contributed to NYC Pooch’s success. While NYC POOCH is by and large about dogs, it’s the people we work with that make it so special, and I'm grateful each day to work with such an amazing team of humans from all walks of life, all doing incredible things, and still finding time to give their hearts to the dogs. It’s that special connection with dogs that brings us all together.
